This annual workshop is geared especially for current INCITE and discretionary projects that have already scaled to multiple racks of Blue Gene/P*. With the arrival of Mira, the ALCF’s 10-petaflops Blue Gene/Q, this year’s workshop will focus on issues of scaling to the next-gen system.

Leap to Petascale is timed to coincide with efforts of those preparing to submit proposals for a 2013 INCITE award (the INCITE open call runs April 11 – June 27). A large portion of workshop will be devoted to hands-on tuning of applications with one-on-one assistance from our skilled performance engineers and computational scientists. Special system reservations will provide the opportunity for full-scale runs.
