Zhen Xie is a postdoctoral researcher in the Data Sciences group with the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility. Zhen works on optimizing AI and HPC workloads with mixed precision on the next-generation AI-accelerator systems.
Prior, Zhen was a postdoctoral researcher in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of California Merced on building efficient system supports for HPC and AI/DL workloads with persistent memory and GPU platforms. Zhen obtained his Ph.D. degree at the Institute of Computing Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICT, CAS), Beijing, China. Zhen received the B.S. degree in Computer Science and Technology at Wuhan University of Technology.
