13th Workshop on the DOE Advanced CompuTational Software (ACTS) Collection

Seminar
The Advanced CompuTational Software (ACTS) Collection workshop offers an opportunity for application developers to learn about computational techniques and work with state-of-the-art, robust, scalable and sustainable software libraries and tools.

For well over a decade, ACTS has been organizing yearly workshops that bring tool developers and users together. The workshop facilitates discussions on current computational science and engineering challenges. It facilitates discussions between high-end tool development projects and a wide range of applications being developed by research and commercial institutions. The number of workshop attendees is limited to maximize one-to-one interactions between application and tool developers. Additionally, attendees will learn about the tool functionalities through hands-on sessions, and will have ample time for discussions on their particular computational needs.

This workshop is opened to computational scientists from industry, academia and national labs. Registration fees are fully sponsored by the DOE's Office of Science. In addition, DOE will sponsor travel expenses for a limited number of graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
