2026 ALCF INCITE GPU Hackathon

ALCFINCITEHACKATHON2025GRAPHIC

Join us for the 2026 ALCF INCITE GPU Hackathon to work with expert mentors to prepare your code and boost its performance for the upcoming INCITE call for proposals as well as DOE's ASCR Leadership Computing Challenge (ALCC). Applications will be accepted for both Aurora, Polaris and AI Testbeds.

The hackathon will pair selected teams of researchers with experts from ALCF and vendors. Teams will work together on their applications for their upcoming INCITE and/or ALCC proposal submissions. Each team needs to submit one application, and each team should have a minimum of two participants who will attend the in-person week.

With the INCITE call opening in January 2026, this is a great opportunity to help prepare you for your proposal.

Important Dates:

  • February 6: Application Deadline
  • February 14: Application Acceptance Notification
  • April 14 : Team-Expert Virtual Introductory Meeting and Team Presentation
  • April 28-30: In-Person Hackathon at Argonne National Laboratory

Only one application should be submitted per team. After reviewing submissions, we will notify selected teams about next steps. Participants are responsible for their travel and lodging expenses. During in-person week we will provide lunch.

Please do not hesitate to reach to us with questions or comments at [email protected].
