Promoting computing research collaborations between Argonne and Illinois Tech

Argonne National Laboratory is partnering with Illinois Tech for a new joint seminar series that will promote research collaborations between two organizations in computing fields including high performance computing, AI/ML, edge computing, data science, and more.

For Spring 2022, the first series will include a kickoff seminar, followed by four theme seminars. More follow-on series will be arranged in the near future. For the first series, all the seminars will be held on Wednesdays 4-5pm (CT) on a weekly basis between March 2nd and April 6th.

For each seminar, there will be four speakers (two from Argonne and two from Illinois Tech). Each speaker is expected to give an elevator pitch of his/her research in 10-15min (lightning talk).

All the seminars (including the kickoff seminar) will be held virtually via Zoom. The schedule of the first series is listed below. Please join us in discussing future possibilities.
