Investing Corollary

Ira Goldberg
Seminar

In our talk, we will look at some common forms of investments like mutual funds, exchange traded funds, and real estate investment trusts. What are they, how do they work, how might we compare them, how might we think about investment and other risks, and more? We will also continue to explore some ideas from economics and finance that can help us think about the investment choices with which we're faced. Specific attention will be paid to human investing biases (part of an area addressed by this year's Nobel Prize winner from the University of Chicago, Richard Thaler).
