During a tour of the ALCF's Interim Supercomputing Support Facility (ISSF), high school girls will see the cutting-edge, newly installed IBM Blue Gene/P system, large data disk and tape robot storage systems, and high-speed networking. The girls will learn about cutting-edge science results being processed on this high-performance system and receive career information regarding the educational background necessary to achieve success in the field of scientific computing.
