To help meet the Large Hadron Collider’s growing computing needs, ATLAS is working in conjunction with the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility (ALCF), a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Science User Facility, located at Argonne National Laboratory. ALCF helps accelerate the pace of discovery and innovation by providing supercomputing resources that are 10 to 100 times more powerful than systems typically used for scientific research.
