Quantum Computing Tutorial | Spring 2019

Workshop Beginner, Intermediate
Argonne Quantum Computing Tutorial

Argonne National Laboratory will hold second Quantum Computing Tutorial on May 14, 2019. The tutorial is designed to provide hands-on experience programming quantum simulators and computers.

Participants will learn basics of how to program IBM quantum computers with Qiskit framework and how to use Atos QLM35 quantum simulator located in Argonne's Joint Laboratory for System Evaluation. Participants are encouraged to bring laptops.

The workshop is open to advanced graduate students, postdoctoral associates, and staff. Priority will be given to LDRD Quantum Expedition participants. Basic knowledge of quantum computing is required.

PLEASE NOTE: There is no fee to attend the workshop, but participants are responsible for their own travel expenses and lunch. Space is limited and registration is required.

Yuri Alexeev from Argonne's Computational Science Division is hosting this event. The instructors are Ruslan Shaydulin and Francois-Marie Le Régent.
